JOIN THE VOLLEYBALL AUSTRALIA TEAM

The Australian Volleyball Schools Cup is Australia's largest School Sporting event and will be hosted on the Queensland's Gold Coast at the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre, the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre and the Runaway Bay Indoor Sport Centre. 

This event has a long standing history of volunteering and comradery amongst the workforce. It provides a great opportunity to meet new people and to learn a little more about the sport of Volleyball.

WWCC REQUIREMENTS

It is a requirement for all volunteers to hold a current working with children check, if you have not worked/volunteered with children in 2022 so far you will just require a WWCC from your home state. If you have already worked/volunteered with children in QLD in 2022 you will be required to obtain and QLD Blue Card. If you need to obtain a blue card please email lindsay.chugg@volleyball.org.au for instructions on how to do so.

We have a number of different roles to suit any personality and if you are unsure on any role in particular please reach out to our team and we would be more than happy to provide you with more information.

Flights, accommodation and a meal allowance are all provided. Volunteers who are not from QLD are required to be available for the entire duration of the event. 

There will be a training and induction day on Saturday 3rd December at the venue in Carrara where you will receive your event uniform and welcome pack, general event induction and instruction on how to perform your specific role.
